It has become increasingly clear that a solution from either mainstream party is simply not possible. When progressive measures are undertaken by the democratic party, they are not properly protected in order to have more to campaign on in the next election cycle, as well as not addressing the crucial root causes of the issues facing the average American. When republicans are in office, they work against social progress and enforce an increasingly privatized and capitalistic system.
There is only one political party: the capitalist party. In our government there are two wings of this party, the chauvinistic and pink-washing exploiters, or the blatant and open exploiters. While some may insist that with enough sway, time, investment or some other method will create a more comfortable condition for us, however this does not resolve any of the root issues that have brought these conditions.
The Committee of Labor for Arkansas Workers Party exists in opposition to this capitalist party and all of its servants. We promote the idea of harm reduction, doing whatever we can to remove the weight from the backs of the working class, but we will never stop until there is no more exploitation because we will never forget that it is the structure of our state that creates this exploitation. No capitalist party can, or will, end this suffering as it would spell the end of their own existence.
